2017 ANNUAL SOUTHWELL CHORAL SOCIETY MUSIC BURSARY & PEGGY OLDHAM FUND AWARD

CONGRATULATIONS TO THIS YEAR’S WINNERS LYDIA MAY WARD AND ROBERT DURNIN

Southwell Choral Society is inviting applications for its annual Choral and Music bursaries.  Two bursaries, the Southwell Choral Society Bursary and The Peggy Oldham Fund Award, each one of £500 each, are available, either separately or as a combined award to the total of £1000. The purpose of these bursaries is to support the development of the musical career of the successful applicant(s). Applications are invited from vocalists and instrumentalists in any musical style. The award may be used to finance tuition and travel, or the purchase of books or equipment. Where practicable, successful applicant(s) will be invited to take part in future events promoted by Southwell Choral Society.

Applicants should be under the age of 25 on September 1, 2017, and live within a 10-mile radius of Southwell Minster. Application forms and further details are currently available from:
