Winners of the Peggy Oldham Fund Award and The Southwell Choral Society Bursary

Each year, two awards are made to promising young musicians who reside within a 10 mile radius of Southwell Minster and who hope to progress into the professional arena. Each award offers a prize of £500. These, more often than not, are combined as a single award of £1000 to the most promising. The Peggy Oldham Fund commemorates a much love chorister, the other is funded by the Society. Recipients receive their awards at a concert and are expected to perform an item during it. We have been delighted with these performances over the years.
